Redemption City Church is transforming its 11-acre property in Round Rock, Texas, into a vibrant, multi-use campus that serves both churchgoers and the broader community. The church's mission extends beyond traditional worship, aiming to create a welcoming environment that blends faith, education, and community engagement. This project is important because it seeks to establish a “church that’s not a church”—a campus designed to attract and serve the community throughout the week, whether or not they are involved in church activities. By integrating community services, outdoor meeting spaces, and trails within a park-like setting, Redemption City Church envisions a space that encourages connection, growth, and year-round use by the surrounding area.

The project is located in Round Rock, Texas, just outside the city limits but within Williamson County. The 11-acre site will eventually host a cascading series of buildings, including a main church, family and marital counseling center, fitness center, early childhood education center, and more, all centered around a vibrant central green space that doubles as an amphitheater. The first phase of development focuses on an Early Childhood Education Center, a 15,000 SF facility that will serve roughly 200 children and double as a sanctuary for church services on Sundays. This phase also includes necessary site and parking infrastructure to support both the education center and the church’s needs.

This project aims to create a community asset that extends beyond traditional church functions, impacting the surrounding area by providing a valuable resource for families and individuals. Through the development of the Early Childhood Education Center, Redemption City Church will offer much-needed educational services while establishing a flexible space that can adapt to community needs. The project’s phased approach ensures that future expansions can be seamlessly integrated, preserving the overall vision and enhancing the site’s value as a year-round destination for the entire community.
