OneRise Wichita is designed to tackle critical issues such as homelessness, mental health care, and access to essential services. The project’s mission is to create a holistic environment where individuals and families can receive comprehensive support, from mental health treatment to permanent housing, all in one location. The Community Care Center(CCC), a cornerstone of the project, provides non-congregate shelter to maintain privacy and dignity for men, women, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. In Spring 2025, the new Behavioral Health State Hospital will break ground followed by a childcare facility and housing.
