An undisclosed client working in the private sector partnered with SIS with the goal of developing a comprehensive campus that incorporates a spectrum of services for people experiencing homelessness in their community- an undisclosed location in one of the largest cities in the US.
SIS developed a one-of-a-kind framework, the Community Care Center (CCC), that integrates an all-encompassing system of support services as well as trauma-informed and evidenced-based principles into the physical design. The CCC is unique in that it can be adapted and tailored to fit the needs of any community.
Using the CCC as a starting point, SIS designed a campus that configured the support services and the physical design to meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness in the community of the undisclosed city. The CCC model serves as an exemplar for communities to comprehensively address the spectrum of needs for people experiencing homelessness.
