The design will transform the 15 acres of land along MLK Blvd. into a vibrant mixed-use community. The client’s mission is to create a development that balances residential, retail, and community spaces, while fostering a strong sense of social interaction and community engagement. With its emphasis on integrating the natural environment into urban planning, the project features extensive green spaces and new access points to create a cohesive and accessible development all anchored by the St. James Missionary Baptist Church. A central plaza, community event center, and recreational lawns provide space for social gatherings and community activities, while retail and dining options encourage local economic growth.
