The Hemisfair Senior Park is a vital project that reimagines public space as an age-inclusive environment designed to foster social interaction and well-being. The client’s mission is to create a community hub that balances recreational opportunities, mental wellness, and physical activity through a trauma-informed, accessible design. 

Located in the heart of San Antonio, the park is part of the larger Hemisfair redevelopment initiative and integrates seamlessly with the city’s urban fabric. The design draws on community feedback and incorporates elements like hybrid spaces, outdoor learning areas, and green infrastructure to create a park that is not only beautiful but functional. 

The park serves a wide range of people, from young children to older adults, offering a variety of spaces for community events, recreation, and reflection.
