Scotty’s House is a non-profit child advocacy center located in Bryan, Texas, and serves seven counties within the Brazos Valley. Their mission is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment within which a victim can interact with the necessary agencies. Scotty’s House focuses on a compassionate and collaborative approach, which they have found is key to providing victims of child abuse with safety, healing, and justice.
This new project with Scotty’s House involves evaluating operational and programmatic needs against their existing facility, and exploring whether it can be renovated, or if a new facility will be the best option to meet the community’s needs. In addition to the facility analysis, the Studio will consider projecting future facility needs and explore opportunities for additional partners to supplement Scotty’s House’s services.
